Texas Travel, Tourism & The Economy
The travel and tourism industry is one of the most important drivers of the Texas economy. Tourism Research Manager Nate Gieryn with the Office of the Governor, Economic Development and Tourism will introduce the Texas Travel program and address the economic impact of the travel industry in Texas, including:
- the impact of the pandemic to the state travel industry,
- traveler sentiment data looking forward, and
- industry projections.
