For nearly a century, Lena Pope has been a trusted partner for North Texas children and families, providing compassionate, high-quality support during both expected development and challenging situations. Now, that legacy of care has expanded. Lena Pope has brought its professional counseling services to the Roanoke area, increasing access to trusted mental health care for families in northern Tarrant and Denton Counties.
This expansion is in response to a growing need for affordable and accessible mental health services for children, teens, and caregivers. Lena Pope’s mission is to equip children, families, caregivers and the community with a strong foundation through counseling, education, and behavior interventions. By opening services in Roanoke, Lena Pope is helping families remove barriers to care while maintaining the high standards that have defined the organization for generations.
Lena Pope offers individual and family counseling for children, adolescents, and adults facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, family transitions, and stress related to school or life changes. Services are provided by licensed clinicians who are highly trained in evidence-based practices, with options for both in-person and virtual appointments to fit busy family schedules.
Focused on whole-family care, clinicians offer therapeutic approaches such as EMDR and play therapy, and Spanish-speaking therapists are available. To ensure care is within reach, Lena Pope accepts private insurance, Medicaid, and offers income-based payment options.
